Sonoma Horse Park Summer Classic and Giant Steps Charity Classic: Redefine Possible in 2024
The Summer Classic and Giant Steps Charity Classic will showcase exciting specialty classes and a number of ways to participate and contribute, championing the significant impact of Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center.

Have Fun While Doing Good! Compete in our Specialty Classes: This year, we’re offering three unique competitions that provide participants with the opportunity to raise awareness and support for Giant Steps. The three classes are:

The Giant Steps Jump & Bounce Challenge:Friday, July 26th at end of day.Open to all riders, to be shown over one .80m jumper course and one pole-height bouncy-ball jumper course in teams of two. Teams must consist of at least one non-professional rider. Class will take place in the JEAK Jumper 2 Arena. The entry fee is $200 which goes to Giant Steps, and for every additional $200 raised for Giant Steps, the bouncy-ball rider gets to skip one jump. Prizes for overall winner, most money raised and best costume.

The Giant Steps Obstacle Challenge:Thursday, August 1st in the afternoon.Open to all riders, to be shown at walk and trot on the flat in teams of two. All ages and abilities of horse and rider are welcome. Class to be held in the Global Jump Design Hunter 4 Arena. The entry fee is $200 which goes to Giant Steps, and for every additional $200 raised for Giant Steps, teams get additional points toward their score. Prizes for overall winner, most money raised and best costume.

The Giant Steps Team Challenge:Friday, August 2nd at 4pm.Open to all riders, to be shown over one hunter course and one jumper course in teams of two in the Main Hunter Arena and Grand Prix arena. Teams must consist of at least one non-professional rider. he entry fee is $500 which goes to Giant Steps, and for every additional $500 raised for Giant Steps, a point is added to the Hunter score and a second is taken from the Jumper time.Prizes for overall winner, most money raised and best costume.

Giant Steps Celebration- open to all attendees: Join us on Friday, August 2nd, for a festive evening on the berm featuring a silent auction, wine pull, food, drinks, and music. This celebration is open to everyone and is a great opportunity to cheer on the Giant Steps Team Challenge and support the mission of Giant Steps.
