It’s that time of year again! As many of you know, Giant Steps is a PATH International Premier Accredited Center, and in accordance with their standards, we are required to have all participants complete renewal paperwork annually. Last year, we launched an online application for rider paperwork, thereby saving countless trees. This year, we are excited to announce that the renewal process is also online. Each participant has been given a unique user name and password to log in to a secure website where they can review and update the information entered last year. While each field is locked, there are four text boxes throughout the forms to enter any information that needs to be updated or changed. The one piece that must be submitted offline is the Annual Physician Update. Have the client’s physician complete the form you were given, sign, and return it to Giant Steps. We do this in accordance with PATH standards to ensure that there are no new issues that might be contraindicative, or that might otherwise change our goals for the client. We hope the online renewal will simplify and expedite the renewal process.
