Giant Steps was fortunate to host Girl Scout troop #10372 from Petaluma for a field trip on Thursday, February 16. The troop raised money through recycling, and voted to select a recipient organization to support. Giant Steps was the lucky winner, and the troop of first graders came to the barn to present their hard-earned money. While at Giant Steps the girls got a grooming and horsemanship lesson with Katydid and Corky and learned a little about how horses can help people with disabilities. Many thanks to Troop #10372!
